Sports day and Disco Party!

Today our students have been put into different groups according to their English level. After the lessons, we have taken them to The Forum, where they have had time for their lunches.

We have met them again at two because it was our meeting point with our activities leaders.

We have had some surprises!

Then we all have taken a bus to Earlham Park, with an amazing green field, where our students have played different sports.

First, they have all played 'Rounders' and then, there were some different clubs.

The disco party has taken place in a disco called The Talk where all the students of The English Experience School have come to have a good time. Our students habe had a good time and have made a lot of new friends. If you don't believe it, look at the pictures!

The English Experience

Our first day at The English Experience School. All the students have taken their tests to know their level of English and tomorrow they will be put in different groups. At the moment there are two groups of Spanish students but in a couple of days some Italian and French students are coming.
We are now getting to know the new school, the new teachers, the activity leaders and the city center. I guess we have a lot of new information at a time...

When the lessons finished, we have been to the Cathedral green with the students to have our packed lunch! We'll see what the experience is like... Some students were asking where McDonals was! What's for sure is that they don't want 'cucumber' in their sandwiches!

At 14:00, we went back to school where our activities leaders have taken us through the city center, and show us the most important and useful places to move around. Then, after the visit, we have been taken to our bus stops to get home!

Everybody on time! Well done! That's a good start.

Queue, drop our suitcases, check-in, last instructions and we are on board. Everybody is so excited!

The flight is not very long, about two hours. Some students have changed the seats so that they can sit next to their friends, and they have eaten their lunch on board.

Time to take our suitcases, it's not a very long wait but we are all waiting to get to Norwich and meet our host families.

When we got to the airport, Catherine, an activity leader of our summer school, was waiting for us, with our students' welcome packs which include maps, general information, our bus passes,...

Our families were waiting for us, and took us to our home for the following two weeks. First contacts have been very positive, but let's see how their first contact with the British food is... We'll tell you tomorrow!
